Deep Ocean Gas Storage (DOGS)

Deep Ocean Gas Storage (DOGS) is a method for storing the gas on the seafloor, using a simple pressure equalized gas storage device that is similar in nature to the Multi Column Floater ballast tanks.  They are anchored using gravity (fixed ballast) or vertically loaded anchors. Options can be built into the system for discharge and hydrate prevention. The gas is stored and then offloaded to either a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tanker or an LNG tanker.
