Buoyant Tower

The Buoyant Tower is simple to fabricate and is economical compared to other solutions and is for use in shallow waters. The tower is composed of four cylindrical cells. The tower rests on a single cell called the spud can. The tower is transported from the fabrication yard to the site on a vessel. After upending, fixed ballast is pumped in to the spud can forcing the can into the bottom soil. The topsides is installed using a float-over method via the MFP.
